Meet Our Team
2025-2026 Executive Team
President

PAUSE has for the past three years been the main hub for my academic interests, future planning efforts, as well as a place for growing my social circle. I joined the association as a mentee and went to various events and opportunities - and it seems to have worked out pretty well thus far...
What I really like about PAUSE is that each year the elected student executives try to create a program for their fellow undergrads to improve our collective experience as aspiring psychologists, and this year will be no different!

I love how PAUSE provides an inclusive space for those studying psychology to talk about their classes, post graduation plans, and anything else on their minds, whether they're a psychology specialist, major, or minor. I'm excited to continue the good work PAUSE began last year and hopefully bring lots of fun and informative events to you all!

PAUSE is a diverse group of individuals who have come together to explore and build relationships within the field of Psychology. Being able to connect with like-minded individuals through PAUSE events and opportunities has been amazing, which is why I decided to pursue an executive position at PAUSE.

To me, PAUSE is a space where students can find support and a community that uplifts one another while working toward meaningful change. I value the opportunity to be part of a collective that prioritizes care, advocacy, and connection.

I joined PAUSE as a means to become closer to the Psychology community at UTM! As someone with prior experience as a Marketing executive on other student societies I knew I would be able to contribute to PAUSE with my creative skills and expertise. This is my second year on the PAUSE executive team and it’s been extremely fulfilling to work with a team of like-minded individuals who want to improve the undergrad experience for students interested in Psychology!

To me, PAUSE is all about community and connection. I’ve always loved psychology—it’s the subject that has spoken to me the most in my life, and I’m excited to keep studying it further. Being part of PAUSE means I get to share that passion with other students who feel the same way or are just starting to explore it. I’m most excited about creating content that not only educates students about psych, but is also fun and engaging to watch!
